It shows a rare local tradition: a volunteer fire brigade active for over a century.
About the place
The museum is housed in the station of Jimbolia's volunteer fire brigade, which has operated for more than 145 years. The display covers objects and equipment used from the late 19th century to today.
The collection also includes textiles, such as fire brigade flags, sashes and uniforms. The local guide tells the story of the noble families, choirs and brass bands linked to the brigade. Visits are by appointment only.
